Toastmasters Club
NIB Toastmasters Club was launched in July 2009. We are the ‘first’ Islamic Bank to charter a corporate Club under the umbrella of Toastmasters International. The club has enrolled over 50 employees up-to-date and we are growing from strength to strength. The objective is to enable members to learn and develop skills by speaking to groups and working together in a supportive and non-intimidating environment. The members meet twice a month with each meeting providing an opportunity to practise how to conduct meetings, present impromptu or prepared speeches as well as how to offer constructive evaluation.
Future Leaders Program
NIB has collaborated with Gallup Consulting to develop a leadership program focused on talented UAE Nationals. Under this program, which is the ‘first’ of its kind, a select group of individuals are identified through a rigorous selection process. They will undergo a comprehensive 2-year development program comprising leadership training, assessments, feedback, coaching and self study. On completion, participants will be set up for success with increased self awareness and clearly defined performance and career expectations.
