H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the younger brother of the late Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, is Chairman & Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, Dubai Airports and President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA). He embarked on his journey in the aviation industry in 1985 when he was appointed President of DCAA. At the same time the national carrier Emirates was also launched and he was appointed Chairman. In addition to the numerous titles and positions he holds in government, semi-government and private enterprises, he is the Chairman of the Board of Noor Islamic Bank.  

H.E Mohammad Al Gergawi is the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs of the Federal Government of the United Arab Emirates and Executive Chairman of Dubai Holding in addition to many other titles. He led the development of the UAE Federal Government Strategy and oversees the overall delivery and performance improvement in diversified sectors including investment and finance, healthcare, biotechnology, tourism, media, technology, real estate, industrial and energy. H.E. Al Gergawi was presented with the Moroccan Royal Order of Merit by His Majesty King Mohammad VI of Morocco and the American Business Award by the American Business Council in Dubai. He is the Vice Chairman of Noor Islamic Bank.

Lieutenant-General Musabah Al Fattan is part of one of the first generations that joined Dubai Police as a Police Officer after successfully graduating from the Police Academy in 1971. In the following year, he joined the first Police College in the Gulf region in Kuwait. After a stint with Dubai International Airport, he was then appointed the Head of the Police Centre of Marqabat in Dubai. Lieutenant-General Al Fattan was appointed in 1974 as the Director of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai - Office and continues to hold this position to date. He is the Vice Chairman of Noor Islamic Bank.

H.E. Abdulla Ahmed Mohammed Al Habbai is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Engineer’s Office, a position he has occupied since 2005 when he was appointed by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. After beginning his illustrious career with Dubai Municipality, he was subsequently promoted to the position of Head of Survey Section in 2000. In 2004, he became the Assistant Director for Planning and Survey Department. He currently serves as the Chairman of Meraas Investments and the Industrial & Investment Lands Committee.

H.E. Soud Ba’alawy is the Executive Chairman of Dubai Group, with its focus on Banking, Investments and Insurance, both at a regional and global level. He was previously CEO of Dubai Investment Group and played a key role in its foundation and growth. He has more than ten years’ experience in banking and investment with Citigroup, and was the Vice President of Gulf Treasury in Citibank Dubai. He has also served as Chief Investment Officer of Dubai Internet City and Vice President of The Executive Office. He is a board member of many government, semi-government, NGO and humanitarian organizations.

H.E. Essa Kazim is Chairman of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and Chairman of Borse Dubai. Prior to these appointments, H.E. Kazim held the position of Director General of DFM. H.E. Kazim began his career as a Senior Analyst with the Research and Statistics Department of the UAE Central Bank, then went on to become the Director of Planning and Development Division at the Department of Economic Development. In addition to several board memberships, H.E. Kazim holds the position of Coordinator General for the Dubai Quality Awards and is a member of the Dubai Council for Economic Affairs and Economy and Trade Committee.

H.E. Hashim Al Dabal is the Executive Chairman of Dubai Properties, which is the Developer arm of the large Dubai Holding Group. In his role H.E. Al Dabal is responsible for setting the agenda for Dubai Properties. Previously, H.E. Al Dabal was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Properties, which came after he served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Dubai Executive Office and TECOM (Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority). H.E. Al Dabal spent a great part of his career in the banking and financial sectors with Citibank UAE and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) as the Executive Director of UAE. H.E. Al Dabal started his professional career at Dubai Municipality as Development Section Head under the Licenses & Commercial Department.

H.E. Mohamed Ali Alabbar is Director General of the Department of Economic Development, Government of Dubai; a member of the Dubai Executive Council; and Chairman of Emaar Properties, one of the largest real estate companies in the world. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD), the investment arm of the Government of Dubai. A sought-after speaker at international forums and on broadcast networks worldwide, H.E. Alabbar was recently named ‘Middle East Personality of the Year’ by FDi magazine, published by the Financial Times Group.

H.E. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem is recognized as one of the leading businessmen of Dubai who is currently serving as the Chairman of Dubai World, a holding company that manages and supervises a diversified portfolio of businesses and projects in Dubai. His leadership vision has also spearheaded a number of groundbreaking developments and initiatives. Apart from being a Board member of several organizations, H.E. Sulayem is Chairman of the Merged Ports, Customs & Free Zone Corporation (PCFC), and a member of the World Economic Forum and the Advisory Council of Environmental Institute for Gulf.

A seasoned banker with over 26 years of extensive experience working with the leading financial institutions in the UAE., H.E. Hussain Al Qemzi is now at the helm of Noor Investment Group and its flagship entity Noor Islamic Bank as its Group CEO. With proven expertise in corporate and consumer banking, he has proved his mettle in quality and operations control and strategic planning. Prior to these positions H.E. Al Qemzi was the Chief Executive of Sharjah Islamic Bank. He also served as Chief Operating Officer of DIFC, and is credited with laying the ground for a World Class Financial Centre.
