Noor Islamic Bank Wins “Best New Islamic Bank” Award
Noor Islamic Bank PJSC was recently awarded the “Best New Islamic Bank” Award at the International Islamic Finance Forum, which took place in Dubai in April.
The award was presented to Hussain Al Qemzi, Group CEO of Noor Islamic Bank by Rushdi Siddiqui, Global Director, Dow Jones Islamic Market Index Group.
The International Islamic Finance Forum was established in Dubai eight years and is considered the premier event in the Islamic finance event calendar. The forum also celebrates excellence in Islamic finance through the IIFF Awards to promote and recognize significant contributions to Islamic finance by individuals, companies and institutions.
Commenting on the award Hussain Al Qemzi, Group CEO of Noor Islamic Bank said: “We are honored to be presented with the Best New Islamic Bank Award and thank the organizers and our peers for their consideration. We are a young bank, but this award proves that we are ahead of our expectations and plans to be the world’s leading Islamic bank.”
